What Makes Aurora Products Special

AP25 is a modern slimline aluminium glazing system comprising of a “1-part” section for use as a head channel and for wall abutments which measures 25mm wide x 25mm high and a “2-part” (chair and bead) section intended for use as a base channel and for wall abutments where a removable bead is needed which also measures 25mm wide x 25mm high.
Head deflection of +/-25mm is achieved using our male/female deflection set or a deflection of +/-20mm is achieved using our 50mm deep “1-part” head channel, both of which collaborate with all other components.
The AP25 single-glazed system has been tested for acoustic performance in a UKAS accredited laboratory and can achieve up to Rw38dB using 12.8mm acoustic laminated glass.  Full test reports available on request.

Banded glazing is achieved by using our specially extruded aluminium sections which can be cut & installed to any desired layout
and finishes just under flush to the trackwork optimising aesthetics.
Our banding measures 25mm wide and is bonded to both sides of glass in the AP25 system for a sleek banded screen. We have a
custom box section that is bonded internally to the AP54 system and works in conjunction with our bars to create fully banded screen with a framed appearance.
To truly complement any banded screen you need a door to match. This is achieved using our ultra-slim ‘U’ channel to frame the
door and our ultra-slim 25mm flat bar to continue the banding design through the whole screen and colour matched ironmongery
blends in nicely.

AP54 is a modern slimline aluminium glazing system comprising of a “1-part” section for use as a head channel and for wall abutments which measures 54mm wide x 25mm high and a “2-part” (chair and bead) section intended for use as a base channel and for wall abutments where a removable bead is needed which also measures 54mm wide x 25mm high.
Head deflection of +/-25mm is achieved using our male/female deflection set or a deflection of +/-20mm is achieved using our 50mm deep “1-part” head channel, both of which collaborate with all other components.
This system can also be used to create customised ‘tech-panels’ using a variety of materials and has a minimum 13mm cavity
between the glass/boards.
The AP54 double-glazed system has been tested for acoustic performance in a UKAS accredited laboratory and can achieve up to Rw42dB using 2 x layers of 12.8mm acoustic laminated glass.  Full test reports available on request.

All our glazing systems come with a corresponding door frame in keeping with the modern slimline design. Although slim in
appearance, our frames have been designed with robustness being one of the principle objectives and can accommodate most
door types up to 44mm thick or 54mm rebated.

Designed with the fixer in mind, our frames are incredibly quick & easy to install and each door frame is mitre cut in our workshop to any door size before sending to site.

With pre-drilled, counter-sunk holes in the top face of the head and internal locating mitre brackets, you will achieve a flawless joint every time. The bespoke steel fixing plate for the bottom of door legs are designed not to interfere with floor springs if being used.

Our slimline door frame has been tested for acoustic performance in a UKAS accredited laboratory and can achieve up to Rw33dB
using a 12mm CFT frameless glass door and acoustic seal.  Full test reports available on request.
